I have already been adopted!
What do you get when you cross a sheepdog and a rose? A Collie-Flower!
And boy oh boy is Hazel a darling Collie-Flower! She is a 4 year old, healthy 28lbs. Shetland sheepdog. She was found wandering the streets in the cold, wet weather - poor girl.
She loves car rides, snoozing and has just begun warming up to play with toys. She loves humans and thrives when she gets attention. Sleeping time is quiet and peaceful with sweet Hazel. She currently sleeps alone inside an X-pen at night. She is slowly starting to feel comfortable to play with other dogs. Her foster says Hazel loves her 10 year old daughter; sweet, little friendship.
She has access to the backyard to do her potty business. Her housebreaking training is almost complete!
She is a bit shy and does need a little while to warm up to humans and other dogs. She is coming out of her shell and we can't wait to see how much more she will blossom. Her previous owner may not have exposed her to many things. With unfamiliar settings or sounds, she will bark in response but through time and with a patient family, she should be able to acclimate well.
Will you open your hearts to this beautiful girl? Hazel loves to give kisses and is waiting patiently for her forever family.
